Q: Why should I use ResumeArrow.com?

A: ResumeArrow is one of the best ways to get in front of many recruiters at once.  In the past, job seekers who wanted to reach lots of recruiters would send their resume by mail which is costly and time consuming.  ResumeArrow lets job seekers reach recruiters quickly, inexpensively and effectively.  By getting your resume into a recruiter's e-mail inbox, the recruiter sees your resume right away and often recruiters will take action immediately and respond with an inquiry for further information or even a job opportunity.

Q: Who will receive my resume?

A: Your resume will be received only by third party recruiters, direct employers and staffing firms who have registered to receive resumes from us.  We currently have thousands of recruiters registered who work in all industries.

Q: Can I keep my current employer from receiving my resume?

A: Because third party recruiters are signed up for our service, it is not possible to block certain employers from receiving your resume.  Recruiters generally work with many employers so it would not be practical for us to ask the recruiters not to share certain resumes with certain employers. However, one step you can take to minimize the chances your current employer notices you're looking for a job is to use our Confidentiality feature. This way, your name and contact information are not revealed.

Q: How does the confidentiality feature work?

A: When you sign up on ResumeArrow, you'll be given the option to remain confidential. If you choose this option, the emails we send to recruiters with your resume will not contain your name. In addition, your real e-mail address will not be revealed. Instead, we will assign you an email address @resumearrow.com which relays email to your real email address. So this confidential email address will appear on the resume we send to recruiters on your behalf. When using the confidential feature, please do not include your contact information in the text of your resume or cover letter. Recruiters will be able to contact you at your confidential email address. If you specify you would prefer to be contacted by telephone, your phone number will also be provided to recruiters, but not your name.

Q: Can I use ResumeArrow to search for jobs?

A: ResumeArrow is one of the best ways to get in front of many recruiters at once. Q: What kind of results can I expect?

A: Results vary, and depend mainly on your work history, education, salary, and geographic requirements. Recruiters typically respond right away to resumes that appear to match a current open position that they're working on filling.  If they don't have any positions that match at the moment, most recruiters will add your resume to a database that they'll search for future job openings.  Keep in mind most recruiters work on up to 10 open positions at a time. For example, if your resume is sent to 1,000 recruiters, you could be considered for up to 10,000 jobs!

A: Currently, the majority of the recruiters signed up to receive resumes are located in the U.S., so this service works best for job seekers in the United States.
