Q: Can I post job listings on ResumeArrow.com?

A: No. We do not offer job posting. ResumeArrow is a service that lets you receive resumes by e-mail that match filtering criteria you specify when you sign up. ResumeArrow works best for recruiters who have a constant need for certain types of employees. For example, if you're an IT recruiter, you may have a constant need for talented programmers in New York. If your needs are constantly changing, ResumeArrow may not be the best tool for you.

Q: How long will it take to start receiving resumes?

A: Once you submit your application to receive resumes, we will begin reviewing your application and assuming your company is a bonnafide recruiter or employer, your application will be approved anywhere from a few hours to several days from when it is submitted. If we are very busy, it could take up to one week for your application to be approved. After approval, resumes will start being sent to you as soon as candidates sign up for ResumeArrow who meet your filtering criteria.

For example, if you are looking only in the state of Utah for Non-Profit professionals, your first resume will arrive when a non-profit professional looking for a job in Utah signs up with ResumeArrow any time after your approval date.

Q: Can I receive resumes without joining your affiliate program or referring candidates?

A: Absolutely. There is no requirement to join our affiliate program in order to receive resumes. The only requirement is that you are a bonnafide employer or recruiter offering legitimate job opportunities. Simply click "Get Free Resumes" at the top of this screen to sign up.

Q: I no longer wish to receive resumes from ResumeArrow. How do I unsubscribe?

A: There are removal instructions at the bottom of each resume we send you for quick removal. You can also log in to your recruiter account on ResumeArrow and make your account inactive.

Q: Why should I use ResumeArrow.com?

A: Employers and recruiters who want to receive targeted resumes from individuals who are ready to be placed in a new position right now should sign up for ResumeArrow.  Our service was developed by experts with years of experience in the recruiting business.  In addition to ResumeArrow, we run several other online placement services such as PostMyJobs.com and ResumeDirector.com.

Q: Who can register to receive resumes?

A: Only third party recruiters and employers who have bonna-fide job openings can register to receive resumes from ResumeArrow.com.  Individuals who attempt to use the service for other purposes such as advertising products, spamming, etc. will have their accounts terminated.  We reserve the right to take legal action against offenders of this policy.

Q: What if I can't remember my password?

A: Don't worry! We have an easy to use password lookup system.  Just click the "Login" link at the top of this page (or any page in the Employers area).  Enter your e-mail address in the corresponding field on the Login screen.  Then click the "Forgot Password" link and our system will send you an e-mail with your password.

Q: If I'm going to be on vacation, can I temporarily stop receiving resumes?

A: Yes.  Simply log in to your account using the "Login" link at the top of any screen in the Employers area.  After you're logged in, click the link to edit your account information.  The first option on the screen lets you change your status to Inactive.  Click the "Save" button at the bottom of that screen to save the new setting.  When you return from your vacation, simply repeat the same process but change the status from "Inactive" to "Active."

Q: Is it really FREE to receive resumes?

A: Yes!  In order to provide our job seeker customers with maximum exposure, we have made the service totally free for recruiters.  There are absolutely no hidden fees with our service.

Q: Why am I getting duplicate resumes?

A: If you get a certain resume twice in the same in the same day, you most likely have more than one profile in our system.  If you don't know the login information for both profiles, feel free to e-mail us at support@resumearrow.com for help.

Q: Can I filter by industry and job category?

A: Yes!  When you sign up to receive resumes, we give you the option to specify the industries and job categories from which you want to receive resumes.  If you already have an account and want to change the industries and job categories you're receiving resumes for, click the "Login" link at the top of any web page in the Employers area, then click the link to edit your account and you will be able to change your selections there.

Q: Can I filter by geography?

A: Yes!  When you sign up to receive resumes, we give you the option to specify the states from which you want to receive resumes.  If you already have an account and want to change the states you're receiving resumes for, click the "Login" link at the top of any web page in the Employers area, then click the link to edit your account and you will be able to change your selections there.

Q: Can I filter by keywords?

A: At this time, we do not offer keyword filtering. Therefore, ResumeArrow is best suited to recruiters who have a constant need for particular broad categories of candidates, such as IT Professionals or Accounting professionals, rather than for those who would need to use it only occasionally for a very specific job opening.

Q: How does the filtering process work?

A: When job seekers sign up to send their resume with ResumeArrow, they select the industries that apply to them from a list of choices.  They also specify the state they live in and any they are interested in relocating to.  When a resume is being sent, our system matches the selections the job seeker made with the selections of recruiters who want to receive resumes.

Q: Can I send emails advertising other products to the job seekers?

A: NO!  Our Terms of Service specifically prohibit the use of this service to send advertisements to job seekers.  Anyone found in violation of this policy will have their account terminated and may face litigation by us.

Q: Why does the application form ask for my company's revenue and number of current employees?

A: These questions, as with most of the questions on the application, are for our internal use only and the answers you provide will not be revealed to job seekers using ResumeArrow. We will use your answers to help determine whether you are qualified to receive free resumes from our service. Only companies offering salaried positions are eligible to receive resumes from ResumeArrow.

Q: Where do the candidates come from and how does ResumeArrow promote itself to job seekers?

A: ResumeArrow promotes itself through listings in search engines, career resource directories and through partnerships with recruiters who earn commissions by sending candidates to ResumeArrow. When you sign up as a recruiter, you will be given the option to join our affiliate program where you will earn $20 for each job seeker you refer. If you don't want to receive resumes from ResumeArrow but you still want to promote the service and earn commissions, you can simply click the "Affiliate Program" link at the bottom of our home page to join the referral program only.

Q: I am a recruiter registered with ResumeArrow. I seem to be able to log in but I don't see where I can edit my resume filtering settings.

A: You're probably logging in to the affiliate control panel instead of the employers' section. To log in and edit your resume filtering settings, go to www.resumearrow.com, click "Employers" at the top of the screen, and then click the Login link. The screen that comes up next is the right login screen to use for editing your filtering settings.

Q: How will I know a resume I receive is from ResumeArrow?

A: All resumes we send to recruiters indicate they are from ResumeArrow in several places. The return address on emails containing resumes will always be an address at ResumeArrow.com. In addition, the resume will state it is from ResumeArrow at the top. If you recieve a resume that does not state it is from ResumeArrow, then it did not come from our service.
